Description:	The Fisher Lecture is a public lecture held at Adelaide University which celebrates the work of Sir R. A. Fisher in the areas of Genetics, Statistics and Evolutionary Biology.   This year the lecture will be held in conjunction with the GSA Annual Conference and will be given by Dr. Bruce Weir, National Institute of Statistical Sciences, Program in Statistical Genetics, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.   The Lecture will be followed by the conference mixer (see following).
