GSA New Zealand 2005

The 2005 Annual Meeting of the Genetics Society of Australasia will be held in conjunction the Molecular Biology and Evolution Annual Meeting in Auckland, New Zealand from 19th-23rd June, 2005.

The Venue wil be the Aotea Centre which is located in Auckland city's heart, close to accomodation and eateries for all tastes. This combined meeting will focus on aspects of molecular evolution in its broadest sense with key note speakers from the fields of Evolution, Molecular Evolution, Human Evolution, Molecular Systematics, Popluation Genetics and Developmental Biology to name a few. The meeting will have more of an international flavour than usual GSA meetings with Australian delegates travelling to New Zealand combining with North American, European, Asian, etc delegates from the Society of Molecular Biology and Evolution (SMBE).

Abstracts for platform and poster presentations will be sought from scientists in ALL fields of Genetics research. Further details will be released in the Call for Abstracts.
