Abstract submission form

The format for abstracts will be similar to that of the 1997 Perth GSA conference abstracts. Each abstract will be allotted half of an A4 page.

Abstracts may be submitted in several ways. If you wish to submit a pre-formatted abstract for direct photographing, you may do so. For compatibility with other abstracts, you should use Times font, with larger size for the title. Title and author names should be in bold, with the presenting author underlined. Departmental affiliations should be italicised. Please note that if your abstract does not fit in the allocated space it will be reduced to fit.

The preferred mode of submission is through a text submission, either on this form or via e-mail. Note that most browsers will allow you to paste a text version of your abstract into this form. The organisers will then format the abstract to a common standard. Please adhere to a limit of 1,500 characters for the abstract (NB 1,500 characters, not words). If the first author is not the presenting author, you should indicate this in some manner in the abstract.

If you are sending the abstract by e-mail, you can do this in the body of the text. Alternatively, you can send the abstract as an attachment, provided that it is the form of a MS-Word document, either for Macintosh or for Windows.
